To the Left is Posiden, a Maighee/Ditto boy who won his competion and is San Diego's most handsome dog of 2005! He is now adding Water Trials to his resume:) His FIRST test he almost past ALL requirements BUT staying next to his mommy, he had to break away and say HI to everyone watching him:) For him the water stuff was the easier then not greeting people:) The link above takes you to his first scores. *enlarging your window will enlarge his score paper*

His just got his CGC and Therapy accomplishments too!
I had started this page as a place to share newfoundland accomplishments from the newfy puppies here, however, this one is about OLIVER, Bentley's *Nikki pup*  buddy who decided to take charge when a rattle snake was in their area. This is the story as it was shared with me. We think Oliver is a little hero for Bentley:)
"We were hiking along a fire road in a regional park on a ridge. Had been hiking around 2 hours, 4 people, my three dogs plus two more dogs, PLUS my miniature horse. All off leash, cool morning, no sun, so we weren't thinking snakes. The sun had JUST come out about 15min when 2 folks walked right past a huge rattler. MY THREE DOGS were the only ones to head right up to it. It coiled (twice around-big fat mama) and rattled it's brains out while my dogs barked at it. Bentley was going nuts barking but OLIVER was on TOP of it pawing at it. My third dog backed off while I screamed at all of them to leave it. I pulled bentley off by the hips, handed him off, then reached down and pulled oliver off the top of the snake. Oliver was not about to back off of the fella.
Didn't think he was bit (thought maybe bentley had intimidated it) but realized he had FOUR bites in the face. Took us an hour to get back and rushed him to ER. He had four vials of anti venom, very serious condition for two-three days. Recovered nicely, is perfectly normal. He is currently on house arrest:)
Thanks to Robbi for sharing this wonderful story:) "
